It’s been a little while since we posted something here for you on Coffee Lovers 101 so we thought it would be a nice idea to give you a quick update to let you know about some of our favorite coffee beans.

Now as for which ones are the best coffee beans, this will depend largely on how you intend to use them.

But broadly speaking, darker roasts are more suited to espresso making whereas if you have a french press, then you might want to check out a creamier roast.

We are big fans of the Kicking Horse Coffee. Click the image to get the availability on this awesome coffee.

They are a fairly oily bean, so you may want to avoid using them in your super-auto machines, but they are a delicious dark roast that do not taste overly-burnt like many other brands sometimes do.

We also adore this 100% colombian whole bean from “eight o’clock”.

It’s also a strong dark roast, voted as a “best buy” in the consumer reports magazine.

It’s deceptively good for the price, although it has been on the rise in recent times on Amazon for one reason or another.

It’s a favorite among many long-time users who swear by it and we tried it out based on some friends recommendations – we will definitely be keeping this in our rotation from now on.

Lavazza are one of those brands which I personally used to avoid just based on their low price in my local supermarket, I figured it must not be that good if it’s so cheap, but one day I decided to try it anyway and it suddenly shot to the top of my own personal favourites list.

It’s smooth creamy flavour works perfectly in my french press.

Ok so there we have it, a quick recap of some of our own personal favorite coffee beans that we are enjoying lately.
