But is the attractive price too good to be true? Let’s take a look now.

As mentioned, the DeLonghi BCO120T gives you the ability to make espresso, drip coffee, cappuccino’s and latte’s with it’s dual coffee making capabilities.

It is programmable so you can set it up to come on at any time of the day (i.e. wake up to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee each morning).  It also has a frother that can be used to steam your milk when making a latte or cap.

The drip side of the machine also includes some settings for adjusting the strength of your coffee.

It’s a reasonably small unit coming in at 11 x 17 x 14 inches and will definitely save some space on your kitchen counter top when compared to having two separate machines.

The Good:

  • Useful 2 in 1 capabilities
  • Saves kitchen space
  • Cheaply priced

The Bad:

  • Reliability

Who Should Buy The DeLonghi BCO120T?

Unfortunately this coffee machine has proven to be quite unreliable and has received a lot of bad ratings from customers who have rated it online. This is mainly due to it’s tendency to break down and the fact that shipping it back to the manufacturer is at your own cost.

Quite simply, the low price is an indication that the build quality is not the greatest and for this reason we would not recommend anyone buy this machine. Instead, we suggest you take a look at the KRUPS XP2280 if you are interested in a combination coffee maker. For a machine that does so much and needs to do it well, you really do need to invest a bit more money than what DeLonghi are asking for this one.

The DeLonghi BCO120T should be avoided due to it’s unreliability so instead take a look at our review of the KRUPS XP2280 for a machine with similar capabilities but which will last you a long time.
